Become a Friend of Ilkley Literature Festival


Becoming a Friend of the Festival is a brilliant way of keeping in touch with goings on at Ilkley and a great way of providing long-term support, helping to ensure the Festival’s future.

Friends of the Festival enjoy:

  • Priority mailing of ticket information
  • A special ten day priority booking period before the Box Office opens to the public
  • £1 discount per Friends tickets booked, to a maximum discount of £4 for single membership and £7 for double membership
  • Invitations to two Friends Receptions during the year
  • Two issues of the Friends newsletter.

Cost:
£20 (single) and £32 (double – two people at one address).

Gold Friends

In recognition of the fantastic support offered by the Friends we have introduced a additional ‘Gold Friends’ subscription rate.

Gold membership includes all the benefits above plus:

  • Your name credited on the Festival website and in the programme.
  • £1 discount per Friends ticket booked to a maximum discount of £20

Cost:
£100 per annum

Corporate Friends

Corporate Friendship is ideal for companies and organisations who want to demonstrate their commitment to the future of Ilkley Literature Festival, but who may not wish to undertake full event sponsorship.

Their generous donations ensure the future of our high standard of work with schools, colleges, community groups and young people across West Yorkshire.

Benefits of being a Corporate Friend include:

  • Your company name in the Festival Programme, 17,000 of which are distributed free to the public, press and organisations
  • Your company logo and a presence on our website with a link to your own website, listed on the Sponsors and Partners page
  • Acknowledgement in Friends newsletters (reaching approximately 800 people)
  • Priority mailing of ticket information
  • A special ten day priority booking period before the Box Office opens to the public
  • 4 complimentary tickets to events of your choice (restrictions apply for certain popular events)
  • Reserved seating
  • Invitations to two receptions, one in the spring, and one during the Festival, meeting other Friends, and the organisers and speakers
  • Two issues of the Corporate Friends newsletter.

Cost:

The standard cost is £250 per year, but we can also offer tailored packages to meet the needs and specific interests of your organisation.



Please note:

We have limited tickets for all our events, with our largest venue holding only 500 people. For a small number of headline events the demand for tickets considerably exceeds availability. It is our policy to ensure that some tickets will always be available for members of the general public. The number of tickets available to Friends during the Priority Booking Period is therefore limited and all tickets are subject to availability.
