Opportunities for Sponsorship

ILF has an excellent record of working closely with business sponsors and partners to create an exciting range of schemes, from high profile to more low key involvement.  We aim to accommodate each sponsor’s requirements and objectives, whether this be focussed on one key target audience or broad brand building and awareness.

Some of the ways we can work together include:

  • Hospitality and networking for the company (staff, suppliers  and/or clients) at ILF events
  • Building tailor-made projects together, e.g. Poetry Events at Skipton Building Society HQ, Eureka! The Children’s Museum hosting a mini-museum event at the Children’s Festival, Specsavers using their ticket allocation to welcome carers from Martin House Childrens Hospice
  • Projects involving the local community
  • Use of sponsor’s venue to hold events or accommodate authors
  • Company workshops with writers
  • Brand building via ILF marketing and PR communications.

Sponsor’s Benefits

A company or organisation sponsoring an ILF event would receive the following:

  • Branding against event in the ILF brochure, on the ILF website and on any support advertising
  • Name checked from the stage
  • Opportunity to distribute literature
  • Sponsor display at the event (type and location depends on venue)
  • Complimentary tickets for staff and guests and reserved seating
  • Opportunity to meet the author(s) at the event, this may depend on author availability
  • Opportunity to host a reception for invited guests.

It is the norm for Authors and Speakers to start to be confirmed from the end of March through April and May, with final agreements being set by the end of June.  Our brochure/programme is finalised at the beginning of July and therefore we have all sponsors events confirmed just prior to this.

What our Sponsors say about us

‘We greatly enjoyed being involved with the Festival. Our guests that we invited enjoyed having special treatment, with reserved seats, private receptions held prior to each event and complimentary tickets’

‘We feel that we benefited from being able to demonstrate our commitment to the community in which we work and operate’

‘The Festival was great value for money. It gave us the opportunity for brand awareness to an audience that we feel matches our customer base.’

‘Both events were well received by our guests and were over–subscribed.  We could have brought at least 10 more people to each event!’
