Poetry at the Festival

The Ilkley Poetry Map

Ilkley Literature Festival is delighted to announce the publication of Out of Ilkley, an online anthology of poems about – or set in – Ilkley. 2010 Festival Poet in Residence, Antony Dunn, invited the world at large to submit their poems to him and the forty pages of poetry here are the result.

From famous names like Simon Armitage to writers enjoying their first experience of publication, from writers in their early twenties to at least one octogenarian, from Ilkley residents to people as far afield as London, Out of Ilkley gathers together the work of people who cherish some association with the town and its surrounding countryside. Ilkley’s clearly an inspirational sort of a place.
