2019 Summer School

Our popular Summer School returns from 27 – 29 August 2019.

Ideal for any young person with a passion for creative writing, the Summer School features two days of workshops, activities and performances.

We will be focusing on creative writing, spoken word and musical workshops with guest tutors. We are also introducing film making into the programme, allowing you to gain a better understanding of how film and spoken word can combine in exciting ways. We’ll be filming the final performances to showcase the amazing talent on display. If you play a musical instrument, you’ll be encouraged to bring it along so that you can incorporate into your work.

Arrival for participants aged 18 – 25 years is 2.30pm on Tuesday 27 August.

Arrival for participants aged 13 – 17 years is 5pm on Tuesday 27 August.

Departure for all participants will be 12pm on Thursday 29 August.
