Words in the City, our spoken word and poetry weekend, returns to Leeds from 25-27 April. Bringing together emerging talents and established voices the programme is headlined by Henry Normal, Rob Auton and Vanessa Kisuule.

The Northern Slamhouse Competition

Eight northern poets slug it out for a £200 cash prize and bragging rights to be named as the Words in the City Slam Champion. With headline performances by Vanessa Kisuule and Gevi Carver.
