Words in the City | Bradford

29 – 30 July 2017
Join us for a weekend of FREE poetry and family fun when Words in the City returns, as part of Bradford Festival.

Let your imagination run wild with spots, scales, fur and feathers as you get your claws into creating your own poems with animal themed activities for everyone aged 4-104!

Much loved classic picturebook Owl Babies is the inspiration for a new show the whole family can enjoy. This magical performance will have the little ones giggling with delight as they rummage through the bookshelves to find the missing owls.

There is also the chance to hear Bradford Young Writers perform their work. The group will be reading poems and stories inspired by themes in Liza Dracup’s exhibition at Impressions Gallery, so expect all things landscape with some unexpected surprises thrown in.

All events are free, so just turn up and enjoy!
