discussed it with her parents, their
response surprised her: didn’t she
remember being a refugee herself?

correspondent Mohdin joins us for
an eye-opening conversation on the
reality of the refugee experience
and its aftershocks. She revisits
her family’s experience of escaping
the Somali civil war, her early years
spent in refugee camps before
arriving in the UK, and discusses
her work reporting the European
refugee crisis.
