Ilkley Lit Fest Summer Fringe – 12 August

Come and see local creatives perform in a range of artforms, in this free, outdoor event.

A short play Settling for the Bronze by Matthew Wignall (performed by Paula Boyle and Colin Waterman): It’s their Bronze Anniversary, but is it happy ever after?

Poetry from Rosa Wright – poet, performer and professional weirdo serving you playful presence, witty words and a boatload of glitter!

Rob Cowen, award-winning author of Common Ground, reads poems from The Heeding – urging us to be attentive to this world we share and this history we’re living through.

Poetry Open Mic: featuring Alexandra Callaghan and Martin James Attenborough.

This event will take place outdoors in the Manor House Courtyard. If the weather is bad, the event will be cancelled. Please refer to this page and our social media channels before the event to check whether the event has been cancelled. This event will be socially distanced. Attendees will be asked to follow health and safety regulations and to wear masks when moving around the venue. Hand sanitising stations will also be available.
