Ilkley Lit Fest Summer Fringe – 26 August

Come and see local creatives perform in a range of artforms, in this free, outdoor event.

Thursday 26 August 6.30 – 8pm

Poet Jimmy Andrex will perform a contemporary narrative poem in Anglo-Saxon verse form based on Tolkien’s The Hobbit.

How was it for you? Reflections on the pandemic in poetry from the Wharfedale Poets (Fiona Williams, Mike Farren and Colin Speakman).

Ben Jackson: Jealousy. Control. Gender. Stories by the guilty one, for the guilty ones. This is stand-up comedy with sincerity.

This event will take place outdoors in the Manor House Courtyard. If the weather is bad, the event will be cancelled. Please refer to this page and our social media channels before the event to check whether the event has been cancelled. This event will be socially distanced. Attendees will be asked to follow health and safety regulations and to wear masks when moving around the venue. Hand sanitising stations will also be available.
