Jennie will be discussing her debut novel, The List of Suspicious Things. Born and raised in West Yorkshire, Jennie’s father worked alongside Peter Sutcliffe, the man eventually convicted as the Yorkshire Ripper. Inspired by this connection and era, Jennie’s novel is an enthralling mystery set in God’s Own County in the late seventies.

Maggie Thatcher is prime minister, drainpipe jeans are in, and Miv is convinced her dad wants to move their family Down South. Because of the murders. With the help of her best friend Sharon, Miv decides to solve the case of the disappearing women. But the search for truth unravels a slew of more secrets than they ever thought possible. What if the real mystery is one that lies much closer to home?
