GO GOLD: 50p FOR 50 YEARS
To celebrate 50 years of Ilkley Literature Festival, we have introduced a new optional ticket price. If you are able to, you can add an extra 50p to the price of each ticket you purchase.
Every contribution, big or small, makes all the difference to securing ‘50 moor’ years of literature in Ilkley.
Reserved seating is in place at the majority of venues. You will be able to select your seats when booking and the seat number will appear on your ticket and in your confirmation email.
If you require an accessible seat – such as a wheelchair space, an aisle seat, or a complimentary essential companion ticket – please call the Box Office on 01943 816714 so we can reserve you an appropriate seat.
If you would like to be able to book accessible and complimentary essential companion seats online, please contact the Box Office to be added to our access register.
It will be possible to purchase tickets on the door at events, subject to availability. Please check the website to see if tickets remain available before travelling to the venue to avoid disappointment.
As part of our efforts to reduce the number of paper tickets we print, we are encouraging bookers to use e-tickets. If you are not able to use e-tickets, we can post your tickets for £2.
If you do not have a mobile device and do not wish to have your tickets posted to you, please contact the Box Office to make alternative arrangements.
Refunds & Returned Tickets
Tickets will not be refunded unless a performance is cancelled.
Please do not attend events if you have tested positive for Covid or are displaying symptoms. If you are unable to attend an event due to Covid, and let us know no later than two hours before the start time, you will be entitled to a credit voucher to the value of your ticket(s).
We can accept returned tickets for sold out events only. Any returned tickets will be made available for resale online and/or on the door at venues. Refunds for all returned tickets will be processed after the festival has ended and are subject to a 10% handling fee.
We offer a limited number of free bursary places on each of our writing workshops for people who might not otherwise be able to afford them. Applying for a bursary place is simple, just fill in the online application form here or call us on 01943 816714.
