Festival Friends
We want to say a special thank you to the Friends of the Ilkley Literature Festival, without whom we would not be able to develop and produce so much of the work we do.
Our Friends of the Festival are vitally important to us and our ability to keep developing our work. While we gratefully receive funding from Arts Council England, the level of this support has not increased since 2012, while our costs rise every year. A registered charity, we rely on the generous support of book lovers like you to be able to continue our work with children and young people to support new and emerging writers and provide opportunities to communities where cultural provision is lacking.
Becoming a Friend of the Festival is the best way to give a little extra support whilst enjoying the range of benefits on offer, including:
- A special priority booking period before tickets for the October Festival go on sale

FRIENDS PRIORITY BOOKING
Friends Priority Booking opens Wednesday 23 August and sales open to the general public on Tuesday 29 August.
