Festival Updates
Dates for Graeme Garden and Barry Cryer
Graeme Garden and Barry Cryer's event will take place on Sun 5th October at 7.30pm in the Kings Hall (Event 178)
Second 'Ilkley at the time of Charlotte Bronte' walk
We have added a repeat of this popular walk on Sunday 5th Oct at 2pm. (Event 179)
Justine Picardie - change of date and time
Justine Picardie's Event (No.32) will now take place on Saturday 4th Oct. at 6.30pm at Ilkley Playhouse

Change of venue - this event (No 17) will now take place at The Crescent Hotel. Date and tme remain the same

Schools' Events Programme
The Michael Morpurgo event for schools on Monday 6th October has now SOLD OUT.

2008 Poetry and Short Story Competition
Entries for the 2008 ILF Short Story and Poetry Competion are now invited. The competition closes on 1st September 2008 and winners have the chance to read at the Festival.

2008 Fringe Events
This year's wild and wacky fringe events will include a demonstration of swimhiking in the River Wharfe and Bells a cameo version of Eddie Lawler's new musical about the Bronters performed by local young people.
Interpreted Events
Each year selected events, including our opening events, our Reader's Afternoon and our cabaret evening, are sign language interpreted.
If you are a BSL user, contact us and let us know which kind of events you would like interpreted.
2008 Festival Volunteers
Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help at this year's Festival. We have had an overwhelming response, with a record number of new volunteers and volunteer opportunites for 2008 are now closed.
