26. Dostoyevsky Reading Group: ‘The Meek One’

Explore Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s short story ‘The Meek One’ (1876) in this guided reading group led by Dr Sarah Hudspith, one of the UK’s foremost Dostoyevsky scholars. Examine and discuss Dostoyevsky’s masterful depiction of human psychology, desperation, greed and manipulation. Please note this story deals with the theme of suicide.

This is the second of two reading groups on Dostoyevsky led by Dr Hudspith, the first reading group on Sat 4 October focuses on ‘White Nights’. Sessions complement one another but can be attended individually.
