104. Kim Moore: Self-Portrait with a Poem – Me, Myself and I
Workshop participants will explore how poetry captures the shifting, layered nature of the self. Through close reading and guided prompts, you’ll discover how poets use form, detail, and voice to create self-portraits that reach beyond autobiography. Together, we’ll experiment with reinventing identity, crafting work that embraces the many selves we carry.
Kim Moore is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. She writes non-fiction and poetry and has won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize and the Forward Prize for Best Collection.
