Our Code of Conduct

Word Up North is committed to producing events and experiences where everyone can participate in an environment that is inclusive, respectful and safe. All Word Up North event participants, staff, freelance contractors, and volunteers are expected to behave with integrity and to respect the dignity of others.

We will not tolerate or condone acts of harassment or discrimination. We reserve the right to revoke access, remove, or, where appropriate, take disciplinary action against anyone exhibiting harmful behaviours. This includes any physical, verbal or written intimidation or abuse towards event staff, participants, volunteers or audience members.
