Hull’s own Nancy Birtwhistle came to fame by winning The Great British Bake Off in 2014. Since then, motivated by protecting the planet for her ten grandchildren, Birtwhistle decided to change how she used plastic, single use products and chemicals in her home. Her effective suggestions of swaps and natural cleaning methods have inspired millions to switch to eco-friendly options. She comes to Ilkley to discuss her latest book, Clean Magic.
