54. Vicky Bennison: Pasta Grannies
Vicky Bennison, creator of the beloved Pasta Grannies YouTube channel, travelled across Italy to meet real Italian nonnas and discover the secrets of their delicious, traditional cooking. Meeting the women at the heart of their families, she learned how to cook like them and to understand Italian generosity, wisdom and culture. Now Bennison comes to Ilkley to pass on her nonna-acquired knowledge, to help you create mouthwatering classics and bring the warmth of an Italian kitchen into your own home.
Seasoned ILF host Becky is primarily a ghostwriter. She has written for pink-pound entrepreneurs, survivors of trauma and abuse, mindfulness mentors, pole dancers, photographers and (nearly) a panto star. Her regular columns for The Yorkshire Post and Families Magazine were often a humorous take on life juggling teenage daughters, a mother with dementia and a dad whose ashes lived in a wine bottle in the kitchen cupboard.
