Around 41% of Americans believe aliens have made contact. Orwell Prize-winning journalist Daniel Lavelle set out on a road trip through the USA’s UFO heartlands to get to the truth. Speaking to Government sources as well as UFO fanatics (often one and the same!), Lavelle heard stories of alien abductions and conversed with Earth-dwelling beings who claim to come from space. Along the way, his journey became a deeper story about our unshakeable fascination with little green men – and our profound desire not to be alone in the universe.
