9. James Fox: Britain’s Lost Arts and Vanishing Trades
Britain has always been a craft land. For generations what we made with our hands defined our identities, built our communities and shaped our regions.
Art historian James Fox has travelled the length of Britain to seek out our last remaining master craftspeople, chronicling the vanishing skills and traditions that once governed every aspect of life on these shores. Fox explains how, in our increasingly digital age, crafts and the wisdom of craftspeople is more valuable than ever.
This event has a limited number of bursary tickets available for people who might not otherwise be able to afford them. You can apply here.
