Gourmet Food and Premium Indian Lager Tasting Evening at Aagrah
The popular Gourmet Food Evening returns to Aagrah with another delicious menu of dishes, accompanied this year by a Premium Indian Lager.
Hosted by Managing Director and Executive Chef of the Aagrah Group, Mohammed Aslam MBE, this evening will also feature a beer expert on hand to explain how Lal Toofan lager has been brewed to complement hot and spicy Indian food.
The menu for the the Gourmet Food Evening is as follows:
Starter:
Kashmiri Kebab
Mince lamb specially cooked with fresh herbs &spices, mixed with eggs & fresh onions, then covered in light potato covering, then fried.
Aloo tikka (V)
Mashed potato with pomegranate, encased in rich gram flour and shallow fried.
Main:
Mumbai Machli
Fillet of sweet water Tilapia fish cooked with onions, garlic, ginger, yoghurt (Milk) tomatoes, crushed red chillies and Mumbai masalas. A very unique dish.
Mumbai Mushrooms (V)
Mushrooms cooked with onions, garlic, ginger, yoghurt (Milk) tomatoes, crushed red chillies and Mumbai masalas.
Murgh Hyderabadi
A distinctly rich dish cooked with tangy spices, green coriander, fresh cream, yoghurt (milk), tomatoes, garlic & ginger in bay leaf juices, cardamom & cloves. It is full of distinctive flavours.
Vegetable Hyderabadi (V)
Mixed fresh vegetables cooked with tangy spices, green coriander, fresh cream, yoghurt (milk), tomatoes, garlic & ginger in bay leaf juices, cardamom & cloves.
Pilau Rice
Tilda Grand rice cooked with onions and tomatoes, in juices of black pepper, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, coriander & cumin seeds.
Dessert:
Gulab Jamon with ice cream
Gulab jamon consists of dumplings traditionally made of thickened or reduced milk soaked in rose flavoured sugar syrup. Contains nuts & dairy, Gluten
