2017 Programme Updates

Information about changes to the Festival programme, including new events and updates.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we ocasionally have to make small changes to the programme or sadly cancel events. Details of any such changes to the 2017 programme will be listed here.

Venue Change: Event 78 Scandinavian Crime will now take place at the Clarke Foley Centre (not the Manor House Museum as previously listed).

Date and Venue Change: Event 121 Chris Bryant: Entitled will now take place at the Clarke Foley Centre on Wednesday 4 October at 7.30pm (not at All Saints Church on Friday 6 October as advertised). Click here for more information.

Date Change: Event 222 A One Night Stand with Barrie Rutter will now take place on Sunday 8 October at the Kings Hall (not on Sunday 15 October as advertised. Click here for more information.

Cancelled Events: Event 101 Lawrence Scott Short Story Masterclass and Event 107 Witchbroom: Lawrence Scott in Conversation with Colin Grant have been cancelled. The Box Office will contact all ticket holders to arrange full refunds.

Cancelled Event: Event 142 Vivek Singh: Indian Festival Feasts has been cancelled. The Box Office will contact all ticket holders to arrange full refunds.

Venue Change: Event 143 Hilary Spurling on Anthony Powell will now take place at Ilkley Playhouse Wharfeside (not Ilkley Rugby Club as advertised)

Cancelled Event: Event 27 The Boxing Diaries has been cancelled.

Cancelled Event: Event 58. The Song Rising: Samantha Shannon has been cancelled due to illness. The Box Office will contact all ticket holders to arrange refunds.

Cancelled Event: Event 118 Armando Iannucci: Hear Me Out has been cancelled due to a family emergency. The Box Office will contact all ticket holders to arrange refunds or exchanges.

Cancelled Event: Event 157. June Sarpong: Diversify has been cancelled due to a change in June’s filming schedule. The Box Office will contact all ticket holders to arrange refunds or exchanges.

Cancelled Event: Event 198 Not Lost, But Gone Before has been cancelled.

Cancelled Event: Event 165 Arundhathi Subramaniam with Richard Scott and Edward Doegar has been cancelled due to travel problems. The Box Office will contact ticket holders to arrnage refunds or exchanges.

Cancelled Event: Event 232 Mad Mermaids! has been cancelled due to illness. Box Office will contact ticket holders to arrnage refunds or exchanges.

Event Change: Event 207 Catastrophe/Galiilyo – The poet Xasan Daahir Weedhsame’s visa to the UK was declined, he will be unable to attend but the event will go ahead with the other participants.
